Fundão: CLAIM gains new space for document regularization

The Fundão Local Migrant Integration Support Center (CLAIM) will have a new space dedicated to the document regularization of foreign citizens, the result of a partnership between the Municipality of Fundão and AIMA – Agency for Integration, Migration, and Asylum.

The new space will be inaugurated next Thursday, July 17th, within the context of the Migration Action Plan, which defines "the integration of migrants as a fundamental pillar of the national regulatory policy, more humanistic and respectful of the fundamental rights of foreign citizens." Pedro Gaspar Portugal, President of the AIMA Board of Directors, will be present.

In a press release, the Municipality of Fundão understands that in this way, the Municipality and AIMA strengthen "an alliance that aims to contribute to a more balanced and sustained integration of migrant citizens, equipping the new CLAIM space with four service stations."
